Short Itinerary

1st Day:  Drive From Rishikesh to Lohajung (300 Kms, 8 Hours Drive)

​

2nd Day: Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal (4 Hours Of Trekking)

​

3rd Day: Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal (5 Hours Of Trekking)

​

4th Day: Trek from Brahmatal to the summit (Brahmatal Peak) and back to Brahmatal

​

5th Day: Trek Down from Brahmatal to Lohajung

​

6th Day: Drive From Lohajung to Rishikesh (300 Kms, 8 Hours Drive)

Itinerary ( Rishikesh to Rishikesh )

1st Day: Drive From Rishikesh to Lohajung (300 Kms, 8 Hours Drive)

​

The Trekkers will assemble at the pickup location at 06:00 AM.

After which, we'll start our travel towards Lohajung.

En route, we will be crossing through Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag.

 

 

Lohajung is a small village with a regional market located in the Chamoli district and is a base station for Roopkund, Bedni Bugyal, Brahamtal, and many more.

 

We'll reach Lohajung by the evening.

 

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Lohajung.

 

The Pickup point will be Rishikesh ISBT.

2nd Day : Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal (4 Hours Of Trekking)

​

We'll start the day with sunrise tea followed by an early breakfast.

 

A day briefing class would be conducted by the trek leader.

 

Afterward, we'll start the trek and will take the first step toward our trek to the peak.

 

As we climb the view gets better, and one can see the confluence of Kail and Pindari Rivers in Kail Valley.

 

After a few hours of walking, we would reach Bekaltal, a lake amidst the oak trees.

 

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay at Bekaltal Campsite.

3rd Day: Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal (5 Hours Of Trekking)

 

We'll begin the day with sunrise tea followed by an early breakfast.

 

Afterward, we'll have a day briefing class by the trek leader.

Then, we'll move towards Brahmatal Lake.

 

After trekking for some time, we’d reach Telandi, and descend further towards an open area.

 

Upon reaching the lake, we'll take a breather and settle down for a short period of time.

 

Check into the camp which is a short distance from the lake.

Dinner will be served by camp staff at Brahmatal Campsite.

 

We can get a glimpse of the beautiful valleys of Nainital and Almora from over there.

4th Day : Trek from Brahmatal to the summit (Brahmatal Peak) and back to Brahmatal

 

We'll begin the day with sunrise tea.

 

Afterward, we'll keep our breakfast followed by a day briefing session.

 

This would be the longest day of the trek as we will have to go towards the Brahmatal peak.

 

This is the day when you can only carry your day backpack and essentials along with you.

 

Upon arriving, we'll enjoy the views of some of the Himalayan peaks of the Garhwal region, some of them are Mt.Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti. After capturing this special moment and taking in the view, we will head back to the campsite.

 

Upon reaching the campsite, dinner will be served by camp staff at Brahmatal Campsite.

5th Day: Trek Down from Brahmatal to Lohajung

We'll start the day with sunrise tea.

 

Afterward, we'll have breakfast and a briefing session.

 

Starting from our campsite, we'll begin to trek down towards Lohajung.

 

At Malling, we will finally be out of the forests of civilization will start appearing,we will be able to spot tiny houses on the slopes ahead of us.

 

Upon reaching Lohajung, we'll check into our homestay and dinner will be served.

 

The day will end with an overnight stay in Lohajung.

6th Day: Drive From Lohajung to Rishikesh (300 Kms, 8 Hours Drive)

​

We'll have an early sunrise tea today.

 

After that, we'll go towards Rishikesh.

 

We would arrive in Rishikesh by evening.

 

The group will disassemble here and leave with a mind full of happy memories.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation up to 60 days before the departure date (Booking amount is non-refundable)

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund

within 59 days to 45 days of the Departure Date then only 10% of the total trip cost

(calculated after subtracting the booking amount)

along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and the remaining sum would be refunded.

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within  44 Days to 30 Days of the Departure Date then only 25% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within 29 Days to 15 Days of the Departure Date then only 50% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within15 Days to 8 Days of the Departure Date then only 75% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within 7 Days from the Departure Date then 100% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

You are not eligible for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand. 

 

No cancellations will be taken over phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Please reply to the email of the payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking regarding the cancellation.

 

There would be no refund provided in case some problems occur due to government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

 

On the occasion of any such happenings, we have a backup plan ready most of the time and we'll be moving on that. There are moments when we would have to cancel some activities mentioned in the itinerary but it's only due to the reason that we would be bound by a circumstance that is not in our control.

​

 If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.)

 

then the participants would be provided with a travel voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.

​

If a trek/trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). In that case, no refund would be provided.

​

Travel Chapes will not bear any extra expense due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.).

​

Cancellations policy differs for popular destinations and also during peak season, kindly confirm with your operator once.

Accommodation: 2 Nights in a Homestay on a triple occupancy/sharing basis. 3 Nights' accommodation in a tent on a triple sharing basis.

Transportation: Travel from Rishikesh - Lohajung -  Rishikesh by Tempo Traveller/Sumo / Bolero.

Meals: All Meals from (Day 1 Dinner to Day 5 Dinner) are included.

Snacks: Morning and Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.

Camping logistics: Mattresses, Sleeping bags, Tent, Dining tent, Toilet tent, Sitting Stools.

Trek Leader: Trek Leader Qualified and Professional Trek captain and support staff.
