Itinerary ( Delhi to Delhi )

Day 1: Drive from Delhi to Udaipur 

​

The group will gather at the pick-up point at 20:00 where a brief introduction by the Trip Leader will be provided.

 

Afterward, we'll lead towards our first destination in the Rajasthan Backpacking trip which is the "City of Lakes" - Udaipur, famous for its royal architecture and romantic locations.

 

Note: The pick-up point would be IFFCO Chowk Metro Station. 

Day 2: Udaipur Arrival | Local Sightseeing

​

Upon our coming to Udaipur, we'll check into our hotel and spend some relaxation time.

 

Later, we'll head for a local sightseeing tour where we'd visit The City Palace which is a testament to the gloriousness of Rajasthan with its flamboyant architectural style and dramatic views of the entire city. We'll also see Sajjangarh Fort which is also comprehended as Monsoon Palace and is a unique, one-of-a-kind palatial residence situated on a hilltop.

 

As Udaipur is home to many beautiful lakes, we'll visit the most famous ones on our sightseeing tour. Lake Pichola is a manufactured freshwater lake dating back to the 13th century and Fatehsagar Lake is home to three islands in the middle of its fresh blue waters, both of these lakes are the most beautiful jewels in the crown of Udaipur.

 

We'll also visit the Vintage Car Museum and explore the Local Handicraft Market which is brimming with colorful fabrics.

 

In the evening, we will head back to our hotel. Dinner is followed by an overnight visit to Udaipur.

Day 3: Drive from Udaipur to Jodhpur via Kumbhalgarh Fort. 

​

After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and head towards Jodhpur which is recognized as the Blue City owning to the color that almost the entire city is draped in.

 

On the way, we'll visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort also known as The Great Wall of India as the defense is the second longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. It is also among the largest fort complexes in the World and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

We will also see the Maharana Pratap Museum in Haldighati which was constructed to commemorate the Mewari Rana and his battle with the Mughals. The museum has many artifacts displayed that will carry you back in history.

 

Upon our arrival in Jodhpur, we'll check in at our hotel. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jodhpur. 

Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing

​

After early sunrise breakfast, we'll head out for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur where we'd visit Umaid Bhawan Palace which is the last ever Royal Palace to be made and is one of the largest private residencies in the world. En route, we'd also visit Bal Samand lake. 

 

Afterward, we'll visit the Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the most majestic forts of Rajasthan perched on top of a perpendicular cliff.

 

The last stop on our heritage tour will be Jaswant Thada which is also known as The Taj Mahal of Mewar for its intricately carved marble structures. It was built in 1899 to bear tribute to Maharaja Jaswant Singh by his son.

 

In the evening, we'll head back to our hotel where we'll have dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 5: Drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer 

​

After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and lead towards Jaisalmer also known as The Golden City which is ensconced in the heart of the Thar Desert. 

 

Upon our coming to Jaisalmer, we'll check in to our swiss campsite. Afterward, we'll head towards the Sam Sand Dunes for Desert Safari, and Camel rides, and to witness Cultural Shows by Rajasthani Folk groups who display their talent through the art of music and dance.

 

As dusk starts to settle, we'll enjoy Desert Camping where we'd spend the night under starry skies. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer sightseeing | Departure for Delhi

​

After morning breakfast, we'll check out of our camp and head for a local sightseeing tour where we'd see Jaisalmer City.  En route, we'd visit Kuldhara which is an abandoned village dating back to 200 hundred years. It is also named as Ghost Village and is one of the most popular haunted sites in Rajasthan.

 

Afterward, we'd see The Jaisalmer Fort which is a living fort as half of the city's population lives there. It is one of the largest forts in the world and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.

 

We'd also visit Gadisagar Lake which is one of the main attractions of the city and acts as the perfect vantage point to witness the spectacle that is the Jaisalmer Fort.

 

In the evening, we'll board a bus to Delhi for an overnight journey.

Day 7: Reach Delhi | Tour Ends

​

Upon arrival in Delhi, the group will simulate and go their separate ways with fond memories.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation up to 60 days before the departure date (Booking amount is non-refundable)

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund

within 59 days to 45 days of the Departure Date then only 10% of the total trip cost

(calculated after subtracting the booking amount)

along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and the remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within  44 Days to 30 Days of the Departure Date then only 25% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within 29 Days to 15 Days of the Departure Date then only 50% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within15 Days to 8 Days of the Departure Date then only 75% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

If you're canceling the trip and opting for a refund within 7 Days from the Departure Date then 100% of the total trip cost (calculated after subtracting the booking amount) along with the booking amount (non-refundable) will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

​

You are not eligible for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand. 

 

No cancellations will be taken over phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Please reply to the email of the payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking regarding the cancellation.

 

There would be no refund provided in case some problems occur due to government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

 

On the occasion of any such happenings, we have a backup plan ready most of the time and we'll be moving on that. There are moments when we would have to cancel some activities mentioned in the itinerary but it's only due to the reason that we would be bound by a circumstance that is not in our control.

​

 If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.)

 

then the participants would be provided with a travel voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.

​

If a trek/trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). In that case, no refund would be provided.

​

Travel Chapes will not bear any extra expense due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.).

​

Cancellations policy differs for popular destinations and also during peak season, kindly confirm with your operator once.
